  • Gill started as a player with District Line Ladies FC and in 1974 she became Club Secretary (a post she held for 40 years) as well as Secretary of the Clubs Youth Section. She guided the Club through every level of Women’s Football from the 4th Division of the local league to the very top of the Women’s Pyramid. In 1993 the club formed a liaison with Wembley FC and the club became known as Wembley Ladies. Five years later the club became Barnet FC Ladies. During this time many honours were gained. Gill is also proud of the fact that Wembley Ladies produced many International players including one of the best players in the World, Kelly Smith.
  • Gill has been on the management committee of the Greater London Women’s Football League for the past 30 years, including 3 years spent as the League’s representative on the Women’s Football Association. She is currently the representative for Middlesex FA on the Greater London League Committee. She has been a member of Middlesex FA Women’s Committee since its formation in 1998, serving as Secretary for the first 10 years. Gill is also the Southern Division Representative on the FA Women’s Premier League a post she has held for the past 5 years.
